The ARC 250 is an inverter welder with IGBT technology from the industrial range for MMA arc welding (stick welding), a process in which the heat source is constituted by the electric arc produced between the coated electrode, held by the electrode holder, and the piece to be welded, this develops the heat necessary to generate fusion between the 2 elements (base material and filler material). Ideal for those who need to carry out professional, precise welding with an impeccable result.
It requires a 230V power supply using direct current (DC) and at maximum amperage it absorbs 7.0 kW , which makes it not suitable for operating on home networks at maximum power.
The Duty Cycle at 40°C is 20% at 200A . the Duty Cycle is the welding time (out of 10 minutes of use) in which it is possible to work without interruption before the welding machine stops to cool down independently.
It is light and compact thanks to its limited weight and dimensions and offers high maneuverability thanks to the handle inserted on the machine body.
The performances are considerable thanks to its power range, which goes from a minimum amperage of 15A to a maximum of 200A which can be viewed on the LCD display , it is also compatible with various types of electrodes: rutile, basic, stainless steel and cast iron with diameters ranging from Ø1.6mm to 5.0mm.
It guarantees high stability of the welding current thanks to the numerous safety systems installed on the welding machine: Thermostatic, overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection.
It is also equipped with a ventilation system and predisposition for connection to the motor generator.
As standard it is equipped with an electrode holder, mass clamp, welding mask and hammer brush.
The product has dimensions of 375x160x310mm and a total weight of 7.3kg.
